I am concerned about the talc in the ingredients

PreCardix® contains USP-NF Talc. The United States Pharmacopeial Convention, Incorporated, (USP) is a scientific nonprofit organization that sets standards for the identity, strength, quality, and purity of medicines, food ingredients, and dietary supplements manufactured, distributed, and consumed worldwide. USP Grade means a product meets all requirements in the USP monograph for that product and is manufactured in a cGMP compliant facility. NF Grade means a product meets all requirements in the NF monograph and is produced in a cGMP compliant facility. Each PreCardix® tablet contains less than 20mg (about twice the weight of a grain of table salt) of USP-NF talc which is used in the tablet's coating. Customer concerns are related to the use of talc topically as in talcum powder or asbestos contamination. USP-NF talc does not contain asbestos, and it is safe to consume as a supplement ingredient. You can learn more about the requirements for USP-NF talc here. PreCardix® has been tested in multiple safety and efficacy studies internationally, and has been approved for sale by Health Canada, the FDA, and the European Food Safety Authority.
